The System Warranty provides customers with reassurance and peace of mind, as it ensures that their cabling system will deliver the expected performance for their long-term networking needs. This program offers a 25-year warranty based on industry standards, which applies to all registered links and/or channels in an installation. It is important to note that the warranty does not cover active devices used for power, monitoring, or control. The program guarantees that these registered links and/or channels will meet the minimum performance requirements outlined in the Commercial Building Telecommunications Cabling Standards. By adhering to these performance standards, customers can trust that their cabling system will support both current and future networking applications.
If the registered links and/or channels do not meet the stated performance requirements, the warranty will cover the cost of repairing or replacing faulty connectivity hardware and/or cable. This includes the cost of labor as specified in the warranty terms.
Furthermore, the program offers a single point of contact for system problems, making it easier to resolve issues. For customers, this means that they can rely on their initial CABCOMM Certified cabling Expert (CCCE) as their sole point of contact.
The program requires that the design, installation, operation, and maintenance practices comply with the Commercial Building Telecommunications Cabling Standards. These standards include testing, labeling, and administrative procedures. By meeting these requirements, it ensures that all links and/or channels will meet performance expectations and make it easier to make changes, reducing the customers’ long-term ownership costs.
